The Churchill Farm Saddle Club is for kids ages 6-14 with less than two years of experience with horses. Churchill Farm's specific mission is for young people to have a program that focuses on the whole horse experience.
While there is some riding toward the end of the program, it does not take the place of individual riding lessons.
Instead, it offers an affordable introduction to those thinking of getting involved in the equine sports.
-SCHEDULE
The program will run from January thru May
Meetings will be twice a month on Saturdays, from 2pm - 4pm
Specific dates will be posted well before the program begins
There will be NO MAKEUPS available, so it is important to make every effort to attend meetings. Each meeting builds upon what is learned at the previous meeting, so attendance is essential
Students must participate in non-mounted meetings to be able to participate in mounted meetings
-COST
Fees are $75 per month, are due at the first meeting of each month, and are NON-REFUNDABLE
Space is limited to ten students and availability will be based on a first come, first served basis
A $75 deposit is required at sign up and will be credited to the first month's fees
The deadline for Saddle Club signup is December 10th
We accept cash, check or major credit cards
-REQUIREMENTS
All students must wear long pants, hard sole boots with a ½” heel, and an approved riding helmet (please contact us for assistance)
All students must have a signed liability waiver, provided by Churchill Farm, prior to participating
Students are to arrive no earlier then 1:45pm and must be picked up by 4:15pm
A charge of $1 per minute will be assessed if pickups are late -
